At Outlet Comfort, we strive to make sure that all our products meet your expectations. If you purchased a product from us and you need to return it, you can do so within 30 days of your purchase. Throughout the process, we will assist you in, and keep you informed on the progress of, the return. After an evaluation of your return request’s eligibility, we will provide you shipping instructions and refund you in accordance with the policies below.
To begin, simply contact us with your invoice number so we can retrace your original order. Also, make sure to have all relevant payment information to help us process your refund.
No returned merchandise will be accepted without a Return Material Authorization (RMA). Please call our toll free number and speak with a customer solutions representative to obtain a RMA # and shipping instructions. We will credit you in the same manner as your original payment within 10 business days of receiving the returned item.
Is my product available for return?
In most cases, our products can be returned free of charge within 30 days of delivery to your address. Keep in mind that some exceptions exist, including:
- Special Order products
- Discontinued products
Also, please note that the product must be in saleable condition. In other words, it has to be in good enough condition to sell to another customer, including packaging, all instructions and/or installation manuals, complete parts, and so on. Products that have been installed, or that a person has tried to install, are ineligible.
How do I package my product for return?
In general, you should be able to send your product back to us in its original packaging. If, for any reason, you judge that the original packaging is not suitable for shipping, simply make sure you use a box or other packaging appropriate for transportation. If you are returning one or more products through LTL freight, you are responsible for fastening the merchandise to the pallet(s).
"Opened" and unused products and accessories in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery, but will be subject to a 25% restocking fee to cover testing, cleaning and repackaging expenses.
Factory Direct Items
These items are shipped to you directly from the manufacturer and may be returned with approval from the manufacturer. If approved, you may be responsible for round trip shipping costs, as some products include free shipping, yet the cost of shipping may be included in the retail price. You may also be responsible for a restocking fee of up to 25%.
Once an item has been installed it cannot be returned. Any damage due to improper installation is the responsibility of you or your installer. A warranty claim can be made, but it is up to the discretion of the manufacturer if they will cover any costs associated with an incorrect installation.
Who pays for shipping?
Shipping back a product for return is at the customer’s own expense.
